Thank You !!

Hello everyone, it took me this long to say thank you for your calls and messages and comments and likes... everything! I really appreciate, when i posted it on instagram, i got unexpected dm's that is from my old school classmates, it was so unbelievable, social media helps alot this days. Some saying they have been trying to reach me etc... sometimes its the little things that matter most to you. Upon how long the blog post was, some read and still came to ask me similar questions LOL. Am at your service.

1. When are we going to be able to get the book?
- You would be able to get the book after i launch it, It would be available directly through me and also probably konga and jumai. Would check up about book shops and probably announce on my book launch.

2. When is your book launch?
- July 16, 2016. Wanted it on my birthday which is July 14 but thats a Thursday and most people would be at work etc so Saturday is more convenient.

3. Why did you put it up early January since the launching is July?
- You know sometimes, you just want people to see what you have been working on since you took a break from either work, school etc for reasons best known to you. At least now people know me as a writer already and yes i have gotten some interviews/features to be published after the book launch so yeah.

4. What is the name of the book and what is it about?
- Once upon a time is the name of the book, and it is about the life of 3 different ladies, Grandma, daughter and Grand daughter, it speaks generally about what happens in Africa everyday that people talk about alot. Domestic violence, Gender Equality, Child Abuse, Rape, Success, Poverty, Anger, Love etc. its a very lovely story and its very relatable.

5. Why July?
- July because its my birth month and i like it :p

All together its been good so far and by the special grace of God i know it would go places and i even want students in senior secondary school to read it so hopefully it would move fast and also i intend to make a movie of it in couple of years time. The beginning speaks about life in Ghana so am not sure yet about who i would like to act those parts, i sha have a Ghanaian sister that i know would help me brainstorm. For the Nigerian part, I really like Joke Silva i think she would be very suitable for the MATRON in the book, I like Ada Ameh she would act the Suffering Mother -Anita, Very well... I dont know yet if i would act but if i would, i would act ask Ewatomi - The main person in the book and for her husband, am not sure yet, too many people in my head at the moment but i know hopefully i would use someone very good. So many other random acts but i know with God on my side i would make it a classic one, i also pray God blesses me with good sponsors because cinema movie now ehnnnn. millions o...

i know i have big dreams, its very tough i know but i am a very focused person, if i want something, i dont care how, where, why etc i would go for it.
LOL thats me thinking of my dreamssssssssssssssssss.

Planning the launching ehn Lol, i just got to know the budget and all am even happy its in July so much time to get so many things sorted out. i pray it works out as i want, hopefully i would send an invitation card to people that need it would be good to see everyone celebrate with me. oh i forgot to say i like the way most people call me DamStar this days instead of Dami :).. Definitely my star would still shine brighter and bigger this year and i pray For everyone that is working to get something good done, May God send you an helper.

Independent woman!

I don't blog on Sunday's but I had to just put up this story and I want it to get to as many people as possible so because of that, there wouldn't be any story up until upper week :).   Every day of my life since have been growing into a woman, I have always imagined myself as a very strong and independent woman. I don't like depending on people at all, I hate it! If you ask my parents am sure they would tell you, i just love to do things on my own because that brings no dissappointment.. Parents dissappoint, friends dissappoint, even partners and siblings dissappoint the only person that doesn't dissappoint is God and I know he has my back. Growing up has shown me so many things and how people can be, it's even the ones that you really love deeply that start showing you that you don't really mean anything to them, some wouldn't even want to talk to you because you probably forgot to message or something and it's even worse because you even ask peopl...

"Hi Dami, please share this with people, I need advice "...

Hello beautiful people! Someone needs for advice, just one person can make a difference so put yourself in her shoes and tell her what you think or send it to me personally, I'ld get it across to her.  Hmmmmmmm! When I got this I starred for a while because I'm not a relationship expert but I guess people would share how they feel about this. Below is what was sent to me by a lady yesterday morning.  " So I met the so-close-to-perfect man just a while back. I mean the one that opens doors for you, carries your bag as you take a stroll down the street, puts on your shoes for you, brushes your hair for you; I mean the all round good man. But you know what they say, no one is entirely perfect. Rewind to the wooing days, I clearly told him I am a virgin with no intention of having sexual intercourse anytime soon, preferably till marriage. My man was happy! In his words, "so I'll be the one launching you till forever". Fast forward to a month after, thin...
