We live in a world that ...... - Short Note by Dami

We live in a world that if you say you are a virgin when your friends are talking.. You would turn to a laughing stock.

We live in a world that if there's a Afro pop concert and a church program and you end up going to the church program .. Your friends would make jest of you.

We live in a world that our bible forever remains dusty while we wipe the screen of our phones on our chest every time we are using our phone. Phone is now more important than bible.

We live in a world that people only go to church to show their nice dress,heels and makeup but come out without receiving a single blessing because they didn't even hear what the man of God said.. They just went to show off.

We live in a world that when you are not married before 30, you are not a complete woman.

We live in a world that when you get married and you can't give birth for a few years, you are barren. Forgetting that God can test anyone's faith and that everyone needs to build their testimony so their story can be interesting when they are telling someone in a similar situation.

We live in a world that when you are doing something worth it, strangers would support you more than the people you definitely think they have your back for life. 

We live in a world that abortion is now a "normal" thing for young ladies. I'm not saying abortion is bad, but in some situations it's very bad.

We live in a world that your boyfriend would tell you that if you can't allow him sleep with you (sexual intercourse) then he'd go out and do it with others girls or break up with you.  Basically purpose of relationship now is "sex"..
It's better if its willingly than for you to have such condition to break up with someone.

We live in a world that when you are selling something or doing something.. Your friends can't advertise for you, only few would support you wholeheartedly but if it's the other way around, you would break your head on the floor for them. 

We live in a world that it takes human beings a long time to forgive their fellow human being meanwhile we all offend God and he still forgives us and he even preserves us for the next day.

We live in a world that you offend your friend, they go to another friend (you are closer to that other friend), they report you and basically try to destroy your friendship with that other friend. Two faced humans beings everywhere.

We live in a world that you are having a problem with someone, same as everyone. You people talk at the persons back but to face the person and say your issue is a problem but you can talk at the persons back, and when it all comes out ueveryone is running to hide their head. Hypocrites everywhere. 


The world has become so strange and somehow heartbreaking. Things that are meant to have meaning don't matter to us again.. Human beings are becoming so unpredictable, even the ones you trust end up doing some amazing things at your back. It's very clear that the revelation is prevailing already. 
The lord would help us live right till he comes. Amen.

Finally! - Am A Writer & Author

i came back from school (America) December 2014 hoping to go back as soon as possible but my dad had another plan for me. He wanted me to transfer schools. Different things happened. Appreciate Yourself !!! - (My random experience)

I am someone that complains so much mostly about myself, i act like am very strong but not really, some times i still wish for some unbelievable things. my hair is the hardest part of my body. it becomes so tiring at times when i try to comb it and its stupidly hard, if i relax/perm it, it only last soft for like 2-3 days, i cant pack it and it wouldnt puff out, if i put cream like this,it shinessss so much more than normal. i look at my friends and wish to have their soft hair. my hair is very long (well - boarding house) cut everything, very full and super Black! when hair dressers are making my hair they say its like attachment lol, when i was in high school, the hair dresser would collect more for my hair than others, if i make corn-row/weaving to school, in 3 days everything has removed, the under growth would be coming out,it would just be so rough. The same with the hair on my body. My legs/arms ... they grow so fast, i have so shave like every month or 2-3 weeks...

Human beings are different!

The break down of  "Accepting people for who they are".. It's a vice versa thing! Happy December everyone!!! A few more days to new year, God has been amazing this year. Next year would be better IJN.  A little over 20 years of my life, I've learnt that one of the hardest thing to do is "Accepting people for who they are" ..  I've lived with people and I've had different types of friends and many times adjusting to someone's lifestyle would just be hard for you because you either love them but can't cope with their lifestyle or you love them and don't wanna lose them.  I have many people around that just piss me off daily because of how they behave but would I send everyone away? No. You have to help somepeople change too. I've learnt in a very hard way to accept people for who they are but that's only when they accept me for who I am too and that means you wouldn't do things I don't like and I wouldn't ...
