This is a story written by seyi Ashekun which I really love and I want to share!
Fifehanmi was a young married woman with a female child olawumi, her husband would beat her everyday and night because of a reason best know to him, after beating her he would now force her and have sex with her again and he can even be slapping her as he's doing it.
This her husband we are talking about was going to be a senator so she would cover up the bruises with makeup and stuff but he wouldn't still appreciate it he would be pretending outside. So one of her room mates in university had a younger sister who was a writer and she wanted to write about a true life story so her friend called her to tell her, she was like what's so special about her story (because only ppl in the house knew that her husband use to beat her) so she said they should try to come on Sunday that she would tell the gateman so he can open the gate. She was already pregnant that time, on this Sunday, her husband was talking to her and she said something and he just started beating her again, he beat nonsense out of her with the pregnancy and that happened to be the time her friend and younger sister were coming in. They came in and saw it and couldn't believe it . They rushed her to hospital and they said the baby died inside her and they have to take out her womb for her to survive.
In the hospital he acts so nice like he really cared, after everything he would still beat her again and again and if he's talking he would say you can never satisfy a "promiscuous wife" and she would beg him that she's not, he would send people to be monitoring her moves and to be honest she wasn't doing any bad thing, she would injure and still drive herself to the hospital.. It was too sad.
One day she went to see her grandpa, the man was so sick, so she spent a while with him and she left around 6pm, she started rushing home, this lady was speeding like never before. She almost died. When she got home the gateman said her husband got home right afer she left home, she was disturbed. She got in and tried to explain he beat her up again, slaps and everything, he told her to open her legs for the normal thing she begged him that they were in the sitting room and their daughter might see them, he said what's his business that one required another slap again .. so he went to get something maybe belt then she already managed to stand up she went outside with bleeding mouth and drove to the hospital, on getting there she fainted. Later in the morning she was okay her daughter was siting beside her, so the doctor now came and told her to be careful that she's always coming and saying she fell on tiles that she should tell her husband to change it to carpet because she's always falling too much she smiled and said she would let him know so as the doctor went out her daughter goes "mummy why are you lying?" She was like lying how? She now said "I saw everything that happened yesterday, mummy why is daddy always beating you?"
She just started crying again she couldn't talk then she told her daughter not to worry that she would be fine.
So she finally called her friend and said she was ready to tell the whole story to her sister! Because why are you still hiding what someone has already seen? There's no single sense in that.
Would put the condluding part next week saturday but please have it in mind that this doesn't talk about domestic violence alone, next week you would be able to judge if the husband is right for doing what he's always doing or if he's wrong.
A dog can't just bark without seeing anything!
Thanks for reading! Pls share and comment! With love! #DamStar❤️
Hmmm, what kind of thing is that,no matter what she might ve done,be violent can't change anything,.but like you said,ll wait for the concluding part before I say anything...cos I really don't want to curse, haba she lost her womb in the process oooo, that man is evil
ReplyDeleteHmmmmm..... I don't want to know if she's wrong but a man beating a woman is an animal...
ReplyDeleteNice one Damstar, missed you blogs so much due to work
This is African mentality...stay for the marriage, or what will people say...I can't leave my husband bla bla bla.The moment he hits you, there's a probability he will keep doing it.So run if your life is dear to you.I'm not preaching divorce or saying its a good thing.but its Best to have peace of mind and sanity.XO
