DOES HAVING AN OFFICE JOB REALLY MATTER OVER FOLLOWING YOUR HANDCRAFT (personal dreams) ?

Last day of the month?
Can't believe November is here already😱, this year is way too fast.. Looking back and I'm happy I achieved somethings most especially my first book, now looking up to God almighty to make next year more amazing for me. Amen.

I've always liked professional jobs to be honest.. I hardly see myself as a handiwork person though I'm a very fast learner when it comes to handiwork and I know a few of them also but I think the best thing I love to do is WRITING.
It just brings joy to my heart, it's amazing that how much I write or chat with anyone, when you meet me in person I'm a little bit more reserved than I type lol .. I can express my self better through writing. I just find joy in writing anything I'm interested in.

I've had people tell me, look for something else to do at least don't just have your degree for nothing.. Try to plan on working with it . Well, I don't see myself really working with my degree o, I see myself using my gift from God to bless people.
This days many of us get degree not because we wanna use it but because saying you are a graduate says a lot about you as a person. School is very important so ild always advice people to focus on finishing school though you can chase your dreams by the side.
Let's think of it, how many office job these days can pay you the way you want? Especially in this Nigeria that if you don't have connections you are on your own. Like in another world. Even if you have some would be so stressed out due to office job, no time for family. I've had a friend tell me how her friend kept on having miscarriage because of her office job, she had to leave to build her family. If you can bake, cook, sing, act etc just any thing else you can do with your self just do it. These days following your handcraft would help many people to be honest.

You can get to people through writing or speaking through many means. I'ld really love to own a Tv Station one day discussing about life basically and write stories for movies that would touch people not just sit at home and waste my writing gift through chat with friends only lol.
I believe whatever you know and think you can do, If you do it well, people would chase you. It might not come immediately but once God is ready for you, trust me it would be like you used JuJu.
Personally in my field I look up to people like chimammanda Ngozi Adichie. That woman is amazing, all sorts. Nigerian artistes be trying to get Beyoncé on their song but hers was the other way around o. That's what I mean by when you know you can do something, do it very well so people would chase you and want more from you. Her "Americanah" is so relatable.. Even the purple hibiscus is so beautiful. I know she started from somewhere, she didn't just wake up one day to have billions of people reading her book and calling her name so I believe if you do what you are good at well, follow your dreams without letting any obstacle stop you, believe in God full time, do it well (the most important), one day.. It would pay off.

Thank you for reading, God bless you and yours!

Finally! - Am A Writer & Author

i came back from school (America) December 2014 hoping to go back as soon as possible but my dad had another plan for me. He wanted me to transfer schools. Different things happened. I had the longest holiday from school in 2015, it wasn't easy for me too many things happened at once but then God doesn't just delay you for no reason, this particular holiday am talking about Birthed "ONCE UPON A TIME"..  I was bored, nothing to do, then I picked up my laptop and started typing. I am grateful to God for making this my dream a reality. From the onset my dad supported me and my mum was my backbone, my siblings would read the story over and over again and say "Sister Damilola you tried".. I never knew I would write a book but I always knew I loved to write, and I had intention of writing scripts and probably sell or give out but i never knew I would do this, right now i have about 3 short stories i have written almost like once upon a time. i had a tough...

Independent woman!

I don't blog on Sunday's but I had to just put up this story and I want it to get to as many people as possible so because of that, there wouldn't be any story up until upper week :).   Every day of my life since have been growing into a woman, I have always imagined myself as a very strong and independent woman. I don't like depending on people at all, I hate it! If you ask my parents am sure they would tell you, i just love to do things on my own because that brings no dissappointment.. Parents dissappoint, friends dissappoint, even partners and siblings dissappoint the only person that doesn't dissappoint is God and I know he has my back. Growing up has shown me so many things and how people can be, it's even the ones that you really love deeply that start showing you that you don't really mean anything to them, some wouldn't even want to talk to you because you probably forgot to message or something and it's even worse because you even ask peopl...

Does being a "Virgin" really matter? (please I want to know your opinion)

Hello beautiful people.  I really dislike topics like this but someone asked me this week and she said she really wants me to write about my view, first of all, I can't change anyone's mind so ild just go with the policy I follow.  Welllllll, in this 21st century, it doesn't matter o! Before, I heard on your wedding night they would put white cloth to see if blood would come out and all those stuff but now, no body really checks those things but coming back to your personal self.  Now, I'm not going to use myself so I don't either sound too bad or too perfect, ild use me advising my daughter. Don't you think your partner of many years (Later your husband) would be extremely proud of you when he finds out he is the first man doing it?   Though I don't think anyone should be defined by that because some virgins don't have any sense, just virgin for mouth but no character and also some didn't mean to do it but circumstances around.. but ...
