Know where to draw the line, cut people off when necessary. Very important.

Lately I've been doing some personal check on myself. I was talking to my siblings the other day and they go "You go out of your way for people too much".. "You like making people feel too important" they were emphasizing on it (especially my brother)  .. It really got to me because they were giving examples but the good thing is I know when and where to draw the line.

I really want to know if we have people that have some of these my Features lol because my siblings don't have it, just me.

The thing about me is that Im really nice when I like you(that I know) but I hardly like people like that o sure my people know. If I don't like you.. I can't hide it you just have to notice, I don't know how to hide my feelings I just say it the way it comes to my mind that's why sometimes I wonder how people can't say their mind  .. One day my mum told me my bluntness would put me in trouble if I'm not careful lol (God forbid) ..I have many people I talk to but I'm sure many of them know we ain't friends, I don't make friends with people I can't see them building themselves especially future wise. No one that has crossed 20 should still be playing games mehn. Round up school (if you are privileged ) and focus on yourself.
Back to what I was saying.. But then when I get to like someone.. Oh God 😂😂 I go allllll the way out to the extent that my mum starts complaining. I can carry someone's issue on my head just because I want them to be happy and I want the best for them but the real question is are people really worth it ?

My aunt was telling me a story of her and her very good friend that she shares many things with. Unfortunately the lady went to leak someone of her secret (very deep one that her partner shouldn't know yet) to her (my aunts) partner and it all messed up. She didn't care about how long the friendship was, she cut her off. She was trying to tell me you can cut anyone off and also that I should know where to draw the line with people. So many people are not meant to stay for long in your life to be honest, just to teach you some lessons and some to teach you how to love etc and leave. We have to learn to accept and know that everyone we have in our life today wouldn't be there Tomorrow only very few.

But the other good thing about me is that once I make up my mind about you.. I ain't going back. I don't get angry at once but if you keep repeating the same thing.. I'm very open minded so ild tell you straight up.. See I don't like this thing but if you keep doing it that means you think I'm a fool and that means we can't work out tbh because I would keep complaining and you wouldn't like it. So I know how to draw the line but sometimes I draw it too late lol. So many people shouldn't be in your life tbh, don't invite nonsense into your life. I keep saying this.. People that can't pick you up and advice you aren't your true or real circle. If they start acting up please draw the line and zoom off. You would be surprised at how many people are dying to even relate with you lol.  Force relationship is terrible so don't even try to do it, it can be depressing!

Thank you for reading 💋.. God bless your beautiful eyes lol! Amen !!

  2. The truth is too much familiarity causes disrespect,in as much as the saying is old,it's so true.Know when to draw the lines...the other day just here I had to slap a security gate man,not that I'm proud to slap him,but he kept underestimating my patience. He's always rude and as I always look off!!!Its good to be good trust me,just do good not for the person but for the Almighty,he'll always favour you but you'll be surprised at how much the person you're doing good for or helping all the time doesn't even give a squaresnut about You,so everything has to involve sense.

Finally! - Am A Writer & Author

i came back from school (America) December 2014 hoping to go back as soon as possible but my dad had another plan for me. He wanted me to transfer schools. Different things happened. I had the longest holiday from school in 2015, it wasn't easy for me too many things happened at once but then God doesn't just delay you for no reason, this particular holiday am talking about Birthed "ONCE UPON A TIME"..  I was bored, nothing to do, then I picked up my laptop and started typing. I am grateful to God for making this my dream a reality. From the onset my dad supported me and my mum was my backbone, my siblings would read the story over and over again and say "Sister Damilola you tried".. I never knew I would write a book but I always knew I loved to write, and I had intention of writing scripts and probably sell or give out but i never knew I would do this, right now i have about 3 short stories i have written almost like once upon a time. i had a tough...

Independent woman!

I don't blog on Sunday's but I had to just put up this story and I want it to get to as many people as possible so because of that, there wouldn't be any story up until upper week :).   Every day of my life since have been growing into a woman, I have always imagined myself as a very strong and independent woman. I don't like depending on people at all, I hate it! If you ask my parents am sure they would tell you, i just love to do things on my own because that brings no dissappointment.. Parents dissappoint, friends dissappoint, even partners and siblings dissappoint the only person that doesn't dissappoint is God and I know he has my back. Growing up has shown me so many things and how people can be, it's even the ones that you really love deeply that start showing you that you don't really mean anything to them, some wouldn't even want to talk to you because you probably forgot to message or something and it's even worse because you even ask peopl...

The spirit of STINGINESS!

I have watched serveral movies and read different stories and even heard different ones. So am going to share one of it today.   Somepeople are so stingy like I can't explain, it's very sad because me if I like you I can do anything for you and if I don't and I see you need help I would do it but somepeople are self centered with anything, if you ask them for somethig they would always give excuse, I have people am very close to that are like that, they are nice but they are stingy and am sure they even know. What's there to help if you have? Ordinary 1000 somepeople have but they would still cut it to 500 naira 😑, somepeople are even from very rich homes but they would still minimize their life. If i don't give you, believe me it's because I don't have and if I have i would try my best to do one I can. And to stingy people, your reward is coming . There was a man and his wife, they were stingy to the core, asin they were so stingy that if they fart and the...
